On the heels of another great season which saw the Warriors men's track and field team finish 10th at the U SPORTS Championship, the Warriors were at it again on Saturday, opening their season with some strong performances. The day kicked off with the 60m dash which saw rookie Janelle Clarke take bronze on the women's side with a personal best time of 8.06. Emma Nero and Cassidy Stachowich (Melville/) placed sixth and eighth. For the men, Immanuel Onyemah (Mississauga/) had another great start to his season in his second year of action with the Warriors. Onyemah is an OUA and USPORTS medal hopeful this season, capturing silver at the meet with a time of 6.96s. Joshua Lorentz (Douro-Dummer/) and Brandon Petter (Dundas/) finished shortly behind in fourth and ninth respectively.
