Gryphons Ready For Potentially Historic Cross Country Season

Saying that this may be the best University of Guelph men's cross country team ever is a statement that can not be made lightly, give that the team has won 12 CIS titles in the last 15 years there have been a lot of very good Gryphon men's cross country teams. That being said the Gryphons return the gold and silver medalists from last year's CIS Championships, as well as the OUA Champion who finished seventh at the CIS Championships and two other All-Canadians. Add to that a Team Captain, who won the North American Central American and Caribbean Under 23 Steeplechase Championships and has run the equivalent of a 4 minute mile, and you have the makings of a potentially historically great team.
