The University of Toronto Varsity Blues sit third nationally as the CIS released the first women's cross country Top 10 rankings of the 2014 season.

University of Toronto Varsity Blues golfer Ryan Tsang and cross country runner Gabriela Stafford have been named the Varsity Blues Muscle Mlk male and female athletes of the week for the period ending September 21.

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's cross country team placed second, while the men were seventh at the 2014 Western Invitational on Saturday, September 20 in London, Ont.

Fourth-year veteran Colleen Hennessy placed 24th overall and helped Team Canada to a third-place finish at the 2014 FISU world cross country championships on Saturday, March 22 in Entebbe, Uganda.
